RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING APPEALS PROCESS
All applicants for RPL have the right to see the report of their assessment and to have their assessment reviewed
All RPL appeals must be in writing and lodged with the applicable Head of School or Academic Director within ten (10) working days of the notification of RPL assessment results being sent to the applicant.
Any appeal on process shall be determined by the Head of Department.
Only one appeal against an RPL assessment outcome is allowed. The relevant Head of School will determine this appeal
If an appeal outcome is allowed:
The Head of School will inform the applicant of the reasons and provide advice as to what additional information, if any, is required and/or what additional tasks, if any, need to be undertaken; and
The Head of School will constitute and convene a new RPL panel. The panel may comprise of no more than one person from the original panel and must at least include one new member. The decision of the assessment panel set up for the appeal is final
